We have many ways for our members to serve during worship, include safety team and ushering for men, food and fellowship for women, passing out friendship registers for kids, and all preparing and cleaning before and after the service. We enjoy preparing every member for service!
We have special events throughout the year to serve the community. We have a Soccer Camp in June that concludes with a fun-and-games Sunday. We have a free booth at Smyrna Depot Days. We also have our free Fall Festival in October. Finally, our free Thanksgiving Meal is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. All members help with time, talents, or donations to these community events!
Every year we donate goods and time to Nourish Food Bank in Smyrna. We often serve either in the summer or during the holiday season. All are welcome to donate and to serve!
We offer small-group English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to the community and to those in our church family, coordinated by a member of our congregation who’s been teaching ESL for years. Any member can be trained to teach the class!
